The vast majority of our rentals include: Theft Insurance, Damage Insurance (CDW), local taxes, airport surcharges and road charges. You'll pay for any 'extra' equipment when you collect your car, along with new driver, additional driver or one-way fees – but we'll explain any additional charges to you before you book your car. (Bringing your own child seats or GPS can be an easy way to reduce your costs). For more details on what's included, simply check the Terms & Conditions for each car you're looking for.
If you have included your flight details in your booking, we will be able to track the flight and reserve the vehicle for you. It is important that you contact us as soon as possible.
Of course – this can be done at any time before or during your tenancy based on availability. Any change (reduction / extension) affects the daily / total cost of the rental. To extend your lease contact the station where the return of the vehicle is scheduled.
In the event of an accident, call the number listed on the contract you received at the start of the lease. The representative will inform you about the process. Also call the police to report the accident and upon your return a relevant accident report will be completed. In the event of a breakdown, contact roadside assistance.
In order to be able to rent a Saloniki Rent a car vehicle, the driver must:
Minimum age: 23 years old and holder of a driving license for at least one year for car categories B.
Hold a driving license for at least 1 year. His driver's license must be Greek, European (for EU countries) or International (for non-EU countries).
Only those mentioned in the rental contract as drivers are allowed to drive the Saloniki Rent a Car car.
Yes, you can add more than one driver to your contract.
Just inform the person in charge on the phone call after submitting the booking form.
The additional driver must meet the rental conditions and have a valid driver's license with them which they must show before renting the car.
The second driver is free and the cost of each additional driver is €5 + VAT per rental day.
Changing the point of return of the car may also mean a higher fee. Please contact us for information.
Saloniki Rent a Car cars, including four-wheel drive, should only be driven on paved roads.
No, that's not allowed.
There is a grace period of 3 hours. After 3 hours an extra day will be charged.
In case of returning the car earlier than the date shown on the reservation, there will be no refund.

After the successful completion of your reservation, you will be sent a confirmation of your reservation, to the electronic address (email) you indicated during your reservation.

You can only change the dates, times and pick-up point – as long as the change is for a service point in the same prefecture – up to 2 hours before the start of your reservation. You can make changes to your reservation via email or phone call.
A change in the details of the reservation implies a recalculation of the price based on the prices in force at that time, the availability of vehicles, the return point, etc.
No. The card holder with which the reservation was made must be present to pick up the car, as the card holder will sign the rental contract as the driver.
